Bridgerton in Bronzeville

Dearest HoneyBees, you are cordially invited Bronzeville is getting the royal treatment! Step into an afternoon of Black elegance and style, at HoneyBee Sage Wellness & Apothecary for our Bridgerton in Bronzeville Experience. For 2.5 hours, we’re trading everyday Milwaukee for our own version of the Ton, where WE are the royalty. Come dressed in your Bridgerton best: dramatic dresses, gloves, fascinators, florals, suits, pearls, crowns, and all the regal Black excellence you can muster. Our HoneyBees will enjoy a curated tea flight accompanied by tea-party refreshments, plenty of conversation, photo-worthy moments, and an afternoon celebrating the beauty of slowing down, dressing UP, and enjoying community.

Bronzeville Mix

A great cocktail is more than a recipe, it’s technique, balance, presentation, and creativity. Join us at Dream Lounge Social for The Art of the Cocktail, an intimate 90-minute mixology experience exploring the craft behind a beautifully made drink. Guided by a professional mixologist, guests will learn the techniques that transform individual ingredients into a thoughtfully crafted cocktail from understanding flavor profiles and proportions to proper preparation, mixing methods, and presentation. Throughout the experience, you’ll create and enjoy two cocktails, accompanied by light hors d’oeuvres.

Frost & Flourish: Cake Decorating

Join us at Confectionately Yours for a hands-on cake decorating class where you’ll learn the foundational techniques behind creating a beautifully finished cake. With your own cake, you’ll learn how to level and stack layers, apply coating for a smooth finish, tint cream for consistent color, and properly work with piping bags and decorating tips. No decorating experience necessary. Whether you’re a budding baker or you’ve always wanted to know how they make those cakes look THAT good, you’ll leave with new techniques, new confidence, and a cake you decorated yourself.

Sometimes you need to release a little energy and at Bust-N-Stuff, that’s exactly what you’re coming to do!
Step into the break room, grab your protective gear, and get ready to smash, break, and bust your way through a collection of items in a space designed for you to let loose and have some FUN.

A Toast to Black Milwaukee

An Interactive Cocktail & Mocktail Experience at Tropic. More than just a cocktail class, this experience invites guests to explore Milwaukee’s Black history through storytelling, flavor, and community. Guests will be welcomed into Tropic, a Black woman-owned lounge in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, where they’ll learn to craft two signature cocktails (or mocktails) inspired by influential people, neighborhoods, and cultural landmarks that have shaped the city. Throughout the experience, our host will share fascinating stories highlighting Milwaukee’s Black history, influential entrepreneurs, artists, musicians, civic leaders, and the lasting impact of Black-owned businesses on the city’s identity.

Give Them Their Flowers: A Bouquet Making Workshop

This experience allows guests to visit the shop and pick 6 stems of their choosing from our Build Your Own Bouquet Bar. Our bar will still be lush with locally sourced blooms, and staff will be available to guide guests through their bouquet-making, trim their stems, and wrap their bouquets.
This ticket can be redeemed at any time between 10am and 3pm, allowing guests to stop in at their convenience.

On the Other Side of the Unknown, There is Joy

On the Other Side of the Unknown, There is Joy A phrase coined by poet Tiffany Miller Blooms, throughout her journey as the founder and owner of Fruition MKE – Milwaukee’s only cafe, coworking and creative space. This workshop offering explores themes of embracing and surrendering to the unknown with JOY. How does one find joy when fear, uncertainty and doubt are at your steps? Faith Around and Find Out™️by creating your own affirmation t-shirt or totebag in community. Participants will walk away with a little more joy along with a custom mixed media t-shirt or tote, three crystals, incense, and an affirmation card.

Bronzeville Past Present and Future Tour

Hop aboard and experience Bronzeville from a new perspective! Cruise through one of Milwaukee’s most culturally significant neighborhoods while discovering the people, places, businesses, and stories that have shaped Black Milwaukee. This guided trolley experience is the perfect way to explore the neighborhood, learn its history, and get acquainted with the culture of the 414.

Walls That Talk: Black Art & Stories of Milwaukee

Milwaukee’s streets are telling stories you just have to know where to look. Explore the murals, public art, architecture, and creative spaces of Bronzeville and Harambee while uncovering the people and history behind them. Along the way, guests will experience ThriveOn King, connect with local creatives and muralists, and discover how art has been used to honor legacy, amplify contemporary voices, and reclaim community spaces.

Black & Delicious: The MKE Food & Flavor Trail

Come hungry, Milwaukee has a story to tell! Eat your way through Black Milwaukee on a culinary journey celebrating the flavors, culture, and community behind the city’s Black food scene. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a variety of bites showcasing the range of Milwaukee’s culinary offerings, from flavorful plant-based creations, Southern-inspired catfish and sides, and a hearty turkey leg. More than just a food tour, this experience connects each bite to the people, neighborhoods, and Black-owned businesses helping shape Milwaukee’s food culture today. Come ready to taste, explore, and discover a delicious side of the 414.

The Style Edit

Great style isn’t about having more clothes; it’s about knowing what to do with what you wear.
Head to Refresh MKE for The Style Edit, a hands-on styling masterclass designed to teach you how to dress yourself and others like a pro. Learn how to pull a look together with intention, understand proportions and styling, mix pieces in unexpected ways, accessorize, and develop an eye for creating a complete look. Then put those skills to use while exploring Refresh MKE’s collection of vintage finds.
Each guest will receive a styling guide to take home, with light bites and beverages served throughout the experience.
